Brinkley Station Townhouse Association (BSTA)

The well-being of the Brinkley Station Townhouse Community is our individual and collective responsibility.

Your support of the BSTA community is appreciated.

Parking Overview of Rules and Regulations

Ownership of a home in the Brinkley Station Townhouse Association community shall entitle the owner(s) to the use of not more than two (2) parking spaces.  Reserved parking spaces are numbered and residents should park in assigned parking spaces.

Acquiring more vehicles than the two assigned parking spaces should not adversely impact not only your immediate neighbors but the community at large.  Per the Convents and Bylaws: Ownership of each lot shall entitle the owner (s) to the use of not more than two (2) automobile parking spaces.

The visitor spaces are designated for the guests of homeowners/residents.  You cannot convert visitor spaces to your personal parking space.   You cannot store your vehicle(s) in a visitor parking space.

The Brinkley Station Townhouse Association is responsible for all of Brinkley Station Drive (beginning at Fisher Road), Clow Court, Jane Court and Christina Lynn Court.  The Prince George's County does not maintain any portion of Brinkley Station Drive.  Street parking and spaces not numbered/assigned are designated as visitor spaces.  The area near the front entrance of Brinkley Station Drive is considered visitors space and not additional parking for residents that own more than two vehicles.

  • Parking privileges may be revoked by the BSTA for late and non-payment of HOA assessments.

  • Visitor’s spaces are for “Guest” parking only.  Residents cannot use visitor parking on an ongoing basis.  Vehicles cannot be stored in visitors parking spaces.

  • A current BSTA parking permit is required for parking in visitors spaces; this includes handicap designated visitor parking spaces. The use of designated handicap visitors requires a current BSTA permit and a state-issued handicap placard or license plate.

  • Vehicles using a parking pass of a homeowner that is delinquent in their HOA assessments are subjected to towing at the vehicle’s owners expense.

  • Parking privileges may be revoked by the BSTA for abuse of the use of visitor-designated parking spaces.

  • All vehicles shall display valid license plates.

  • Only one visitor pass per household.

  • There is a $75 fee for the replacement of a visitor's pass.  The lost or stolen pass will be voided; any vehicle using a voided pass will be towed.

There is a limited number of guest parking spaces in the community and the policies are in place to ensure that guest parking is available for visitors and not converted to resident's private parking spaces.   We have 42 visitor spaces to accommodate visitors for 121 homes in the community.    The BSTA is obligated to enforce the parking policy to ensure fairness to each homeowner/resident.

Please adhere to the Parking Rules and Regulations

(The rules may not be convenient for everyone, but they are fair to everyone.)

Towing is enforced between the hours of 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.

If your vehicle is towed, contact Fastlane Towing at 301-420-4012

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A state-issued ID is required with the current address for which the parking pass is registered when picking up a parking pass or requesting a replacement parking pass.  If you are renting, you must have written authorization from the homeowner.

Assigned Parking Spaces
All residents should park in their assigned spaces.  If you are using a space not assigned to you or have traded an assigned space with your neighbor, please be aware that as last resort measure to collect delinquent HOA Assessments, BSTA tows vehicles in parking spaces assigned to homes with delinquent accounts.    Please make sure you are aware of the individual's status if you are using a parking space not assigned to you.

All other spaces within the community are designated for visitor parking.

When parking in a designated visitor's handicapped space, you must display both the current BSTA parking permit and a current handicap placard/license plate.

Vehicles parked in designated visitor spaces without a current BSTA parking permit are subject to towing.

Towing is at the owner's expense.
