Parking Rules & Regulations
Declaration – Section I, Article II, Section 5: Ownership of each Lot shall entitle the Owner or Owners thereof to theuse of not more than two (2) automobile parking spaces together with the right of ingress and egress in and upon said parking areas. Such parking spaces shall be as near and convenient to said Lot as reasonably possible. The Association may permanently assign reserved spaces subject to reasonable rules and regulations adopted by the Board of Directors.
The Brinkley Station Townhouse Association is responsible for all of Brinkley Station Drive (beginning at Fisher Road), Clow Court, Jane Court and Christina Lynn Court. Spaces not numbered/assigned are designated as visitor spaces. The area near the front entrance of Brinkley Station Drive is designated as visitor parking.
- Visitor spaces are for “Homeowner/Tenants” Guest/Visitor Parking only.
- Parking privileges may be suspended without notice 30 days after an account becomes delinquent. Any vehicle found parked in a suspended space or using a suspended/voided visitor’s pass will be towed at the owner’s expense until the account is current or acceptable payment plan has been established.
- No parking of commercial vehicles in Visitors spaces
- All vehicles shall display valid license plates. New residents to the community shall register vehicles with the Maryland Vehicle Administration in accordance with applicable laws.
- Each homeowner with an account in good standing with the BSTA will receive one visitor pass. Only one (1) visitor pass per household.
- Visitor pass privileges may be revoked by the Association for the abuse of visitor space use or nonpayment of assessments or fines.
- Vehicles shall not be left unattended on blocks or jacks for more than 24 hours.
- No parking of abandoned or inoperable vehicles (as defined by Princes George County and the State of Maryland law).
- All vehicles repairs are prohibited
- Speed limit is 10 MPH.
- Double parking is prohibited
- No parking in yards or common areas.
- Curb and Fire lane parking is prohibited.
- Any vehicle parking in a handicap space must display a valid handicap permit or license plate and a BSTA parking permit.
- Street repair costs resulting from oil, gas leaks or other chemicals will be billed to the respective homeowner.
- Visitors parking without a valid parking permit displayed will be towed.
- It shall be the responsibility of the Owner to monitor the visitor permit privilege of their tenants/guests.
- Replacement Visitor permit (lost, misplaced or stolen) cost is $75.00. Permits reported as lost, misplaced or stolen will be deactivated and if used, will be subject to towing.
